Before forming Moerer & King, LLP in September of 2019, Carl H. Moerer, Jr. and Libby King were founding partners in the well-established Fort Bend County law firm of Tate Moerer & King, LLP where they practiced alongside Richard L. “Dick” Tate for fifteen years. ​

 

At Moerer & King, Carl and Libby continue to serve clients in probate matters, estate administration, guardianship, real estate and business transactions, and business litigation. Carl and Libby are also both Certified Mediators.

 

A 1979 graduate of The University of Houston School of Law, Carl was Associate General Counsel for a Fortune 500 company and was a named partner in a Houston law firm for fifteen years before moving his practice to Fort Bend County.  ​

 

Born and raised in Richmond, Libby is a graduate of Baylor University and Baylor Law School.
